Why would I attend this class versus another?

There’s always going to be ‘the basics’ such as terminology, key elements to any real estate transaction, and/or navigating cities and neighborhoods. But what we’re teaching is far beyond this.

We’ll talk about these important elements outlined below while elaborating a bit more than just going through the motions so you have a ‘real world’ look at what it’s going to take to go through the entire process. Whether you’re in beginning stages, fresh in the market but started a couple conversations, or even purchase a home but it’s been awhile or you owned out of state….you’ll find this VERY helpful to have just a piece of what we’ll cover.

Real World Scenarios

There are many of these and we’ll talk about some of the common ones seen in the industry that affect new home buyers especially. Every home is different, every transaction is different, every buyer has different circumstances. We like to tailor the experience for each of our clients.

Common pitfalls

Such as inspections, common issues that arise, the finance side, locations, knowing the differences to compare homes properly, HOA’s, how to be ready and more. We could do a class just on this subject but it’s important to know what can go wrong so you make sure to avoid these things. Some agents will downplay important things until they become the most important thing and suddenly a new buyer feels blindsided and with little or no options.

Timelines

These are HUGE!! And there’s many of them. It’s like getting ready for a big race, except the race is every other day for a month or more when you get into a real estate transaction. And if you miss something along the way there’s sometimes no going back. This is why having a great team and team lead matters most in your biggest purchase you’ll make up to this moment in time.

It’s 3x to 5x of most states and it’s important to know what is what, how to stay ahead. We’ll cover a light breakdown of the most essential paperwork involved and if you decide to work as a team we’ll do a second session prior to you putting in offers so you understand what you’re signing and what everything means for you.

Getting the right information in an organized format where you can get questions answered is an essential part of the first steps of starting the home buying equation. There are many resources available online, however just like anything else, there’s SO much information that it’s overwhelming and without proper guidance and direction, people can feel a little lost and unsure which info to trust and which info to pay less attention to.
